Cottage Parent

Crossnore School & Children's Home is looking for individuals and married couples with huge hearts to join us as Cottage Parents. We are looking for dedicated, well-organized people who enjoy caring for children.
About Us
For more than 100 years, Crossnore School & Children's Home has provided a Christian sanctuary of hope and healing for children in need from North Carolina. Our holistic model of care allows us to nurture each child's mind, body, and spirit. With two campuses one located on 85 acres in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountain town of Crossnore, NC, and the second located on 212 rolling acres on the edge of downtown Winston-Salem, NC Crossnore School & Children's Home provides a homelike, healing, trauma-informed environment for these children.
As the heart of the home we provide for our children, Cottage Parents play a key role in our philosophy of care. Cottage Parents use a professional, team-oriented, trauma-informed approach to support our children. Each cottage is home to up to 9 children, with two teams of Cottage Parents serving alternate shifts of seven days on/seven days off.
